Mer av jazzens mästare
Här kommer en sprillans ny cd-box,den tredje i den fantastiska serien Jazz legends. Den här rymmer 3 cdskivor med 60 av 1930-talets jazzklassiker inom bland annat blues och swing.
Här möter vi helt nya artister, framför allt det legendariska gitarrfenomenet Django Reinhardt och hans vapendragare Stéphane Grappelli i bland annat After You´ve Gone och It Hade To Be You, men också Freddie Taylor som sjunger Georgia On My Mind, jazzgitarristen Eddie Lang och violinisten Joe Venuti. Coleman Hawkins, vars speciella variationsrika improvisationsteknik gjorde honom till en av stilbildarna på hans instrument, tenorsaxofon, framför Star Dust, och Trio de Violons spelar Lady Be Good. Det är bara att luta sig tillbaka och njuta i den mörka vinternatten.
